Summary
CleanMyText runs text processing in your browser. We do not store the text you paste into the tools. We use analytics to understand product usage, but we do not send your text content to analytics systems.
What We Collect
We collect basic usage metadata, such as page views, which tool was used, button clicks, error events, and length buckets. We also record anonymized option metadata (a hashed list of the options selected) to understand which tool configurations are popular. This helps us improve the product and understand which tools are useful.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store the text you paste into the tools. We do not record clipboard contents or transmit your input/output text to our servers.
Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Bing UET to measure traffic and tool usage. These services may set cookies or use similar technologies. If you prefer, you can block analytics at the browser level.
Analytics is only enabled on cleanmytext.com in production. We do not enable analytics on local, staging, or preview environments.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained according to the policies of the analytics providers. We do not retain any user-submitted text.
